My current research revolves around photographic representation and place identity as well as new media expressions in the Emirates. My latest research paper, completed and submitted for publication at the College of Humanities and Social Science’s Journal, bears the title: “The soul of Dubai through windows and mirrors. A critical analysis of Ali Mostafa’s : Don’t judge a subject by its photograph.”
